Clinical Phychologist – M.Psych (Clin); B.Psych (Hons); M.A.P.S
Jaye is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked across numerous clinical settings, including the private, public and education sectors. Jaye currently works within private practice setting; working within a client-centred approach tailoring treatment models to individual needs. Jaye is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapy intervention models and implements appropriate modalities depending on the client’s presentation and need.
Jaye’s areas of professional clinical interest include: anxiety, assertiveness and communication training; behavioural difficulties, bullying, depression, neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD, ADHD, Learning Disorders and Intellectual Delay); phobias, social cognition and interpersonal difficulties; self-esteem and confidence, stress, suicide risk assessment/management and self-harming (non-suicidal self-injury) behaviour. Jaye enjoys working with mental health presentations across the lifespan, with a particular interest in adolescents and young adults.
Jaye additionally shares an interest in diagnostic and psychometric assessment. Jaye has trained and has extensive experience in various diagnostic assessments and psychometrics. Diagnostic assessments regularly conducted include (not all inclusive):
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Learning Disorder/s.
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Intellectual Delay and Giftedness.
- Emotional and Behavioural Disorders.
Jaye is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), APS College of Clinical Psychologists and APS Board Approved Supervisor of Psychologists. Jaye is a provider of psychological intervention under Medicare, NDIS, EAP and Privately.
